Obituary for Edward Wilford McLuskie

Edward (Bill) McLuskie passed away on March 10, 2019. Bill was born on March 24, 1939 in Billings, Montana. His parents were Alexander Hamilton McLuskie and Ona Vee (Baker) McLuskie.

Bill is survived by his wife of 54 years, Janice Louise (Martinz) McLuskie, his first son William (bill) Dean, Bill's wife Brenda Mae (Horton), their daughter Caitlyn Grace, and son Logan Alexander. His second son Scott Allen, Scott's wife Farah (Murno), their daughter Guevara, her husband Emanuel, and their daughter Mila. Bill is also survived by his two brothers, Clifford and his wife Pam o Las Vegas, Nevada, and Dennis and his wife Joan of Billings, Montana.

Bill graduated from Billings Senior High School in June of 1957 and joined the United States Marine Corps in July 1957. He spent 30 years on active duty in addition to one year as a U.S. Marine Reservist. Bill retired from the Corps as a Master Gunnery Sergeant.

Following his retirement from the U.S. Marine Corps Bill worked for the Boy Scouts of America for 8 years. Prior to that he led his two sons through their Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts years.

In Charlotte, Bill joined the USMC League and served in several offices within the League. Bill was a life member of the League.

Bill was always active in his family, his community, the Marine Corps League and boy Scouts. He made lasting impressions on everyone he met.
